We are currently seeking a highly skilled Problem Resolution Manager to join our team. As a Problem Resolution Manager, you will play a vital role in identifying and resolving issues that arise within our projects. You will serve as the primary interface to stakeholders and internal project members, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of problems. Tool Release Engineer

• Proactively analyzing systems/software methods and tools, identifing opportunities for improvement and developing solutions,

• Using demonstrated systems/software experience and lessons learned to drive engineering project teams to achieve their quality goals and leads project teams in the usage of PDS evolving methods and tools,

• Training and transferring knowledge of the Client EDF standard tool sets to the engineering project teams,

• Working closely with the engineering teams to monitor performance of the systems and the measure the effectiveness of the toolchain to meet project requirements,

• Working closely with other functions to integrate the EDF tool interfaces to non-engineering systems,

• Collaborating with Tool Development Engineers to deliver an optimal engineering toolchain for the processes defined,

• Working closely with Tool Development Engineers to monitor performance of the systems and software tools in use on projects,

• Performing assessments of work products and tool solutions to assure adherence to standards, processes and best practices,

• Performing random checks of methods and tools for consistencies and accuracy in projects,

• Identifying and escalating issues for non-compliances,

• Monitoring the projects’ customization and usage of the standard methods and tools to make recommendations for improvements.

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a similar field,

• Any experience in automotive will be a plus,

• Fluency in English,

• Knowledge of Python/Apache Velocity scripting is a strong asset,

• Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL (Oracle (PL/SQL is a plus),

• Experience working with containerized environments like Docker, Kubernetes is a plus,

• Experience in data visualization/business analytics tools like Power BI/Tableau/Qlik,

• Experience with Requirements management or Application Lifecycle Management products like Polarion,

• Experience with JIRA or other agile planning tools.

• Demonstrated Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Software Quality Assurance competency,

• Good written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills; effective working as a team member,

• Experience delivering a system/software product,

• Proficiency in using tools from one or more of the following tool domains ALM, PLM, BPM, Requirements Management, Configuration Management, Work Product Reviews, Tool Integration, Cybersecurity, or Functional Safety will be an advantage,

• Experience working as part of an Agile SCRUM team,

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

About the Project:

As a Tool Release Engineer you will use demonstrated systems or software experience and lessons learned to improve the team proficiency in applying best-in-class tools to support the Client’s engineering development process (Electronics Development Framework - EDF) for electrified propulsion systems. The tools refers to the ones listed here: MS Project, Planview, JIRA, Polarion, Project Center, GES, SPO, MethodPark Stages, Plastic, Bitbucket, 8D, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB, IQ FMEA, Vector Tools (CANoe, CANApe , CANalyzer, DaVinci), ECU Test, Python, Configuration desk (dSpace), VISU, Jenkins, Microcontroller Debugger (LauterBach, Trace32…), QAC, GLIWA, VISU. You don’t have to have proficiency in every of them, but you should navigate efficiently within them. You should quickly learn Client’s processes and tools and be capable to transfer knowledge.

You will apply standard engineering methods and tool solutions defined in the EDF process to project-specific use cases. EDF is customer process which is compliant to ASPICE, ISO 26262: 2018, ISO 21434:2021. Be a change agent to support the organizational transformation of the electrified drive systems and software teams to achieve ASPICE compliance goals.
