• Ensure the team is following software development standards and best practices,

• Participate actively in design discussions, bringing the perspective to product and software design,

• Recommend technologies to solve problems and ensure they are a right fit,

• Take a “get it done right” approach that combines fast proof of concepts and long-term planning,

• Work closely with others in the Data team ensuring the highest degree of communication,

• Design and develop using industry standard programming languages and integrated development environments (IDEs),

• Work from a backlog of predefined tickets using industry standard issue and project tracking software but be flexible enough to quickly pick up task,

• Provide software examples and reference applications to Associate Engineers,

• Write clean software with a “first time right” mentality to minimize technical debt and maximize software reuse and maintenance,

• Assume responsibility for acquiring knowledge of the technologies and applications necessary to complete the assigned tasks.

• At least 7 years of experience with Java 8 and  Spring Boot,

• Experience with Azure/other cloud and willingness to learn and work with Azure,

• Experience with GIT ,

• CICD and DevOps best practices will be a plus,

• Angular – nice to have,

• Good communication skills,

• Ability to work in team and support others,

• Taking responsibility for tasks and deliverables,

• Great problem-solving skills and critical thinking,

• Good written and spoken English.

Info about the project:

You will be part of the Team consisting of 5-7 junior, mid and senior developers + PM. Working closely with Client (FMCG branch) engineers and stakeholders from various countries enables you to sharpen your communication skills. The team is developing the latest-released data extractor tool. It exists in different business areas for 5+ years and currently steps into a very new environment and takes advantage of cloud solutions. The major works are planned to last for more than a year, so you don’t need to worry about stable engagement.
