We can offer you a role where you will be responsible for implementing, coordinating, and managing supplier quality systems to improve the MP global supply base and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders in purchasing, engineering, supply chain, quality etc. to provide support for supplier quality systems globally. Supplier Quality Process Manager (aerospace)

• Improve Supplier’s Portal commit compliance and integrity,

• Review Supplier’s recovery plans to meet Client schedule and ensure supplier takes necessary steps for required recovery,

• Work with Supplier Sub-tier and sub-contractor suppliers where appropriate, i.e., outside processing, subcontract operations to expedite orders,

• Review internal planning process to load shop and sustain internal metrics,

• Review supplier capacity constraints in situations where supplier has missed delivery,

• Brief Company team weekly on progress, and escalate issues or non-responsiveness in real time to get help,

• Provide shipping updates and tracking information,

• Provide daily part tracking through detailed LOB or similar method to show WIP status movement and adherence to plan on critical parts,

• Work closely with BU personnel to understand pain points and high visibility issues,

• Provide solutions to reduce the number of new and open QN’s,

• Manage/ track improvement projects to fix suppliers performance issues ,

• Identify and alleviate bottlenecks in supplier’s manufacturing,

• Executes onsite assessments with buyers, quality, and engineering teams to drive supplier improvement,

• Partners with suppliers to identify and remove barriers to the implementation of Continuous Improvement tools to improve on-time delivery and quality,

• Monitors and analyses supplier performance and applies sustainable countermeasures and actions to facilitate improvement,

• Conducts production readiness assessments for New Product Introduction and rate increases, including capacity confirmation to ensure a timely ramp-up to production volumes,

• Monitors key performance indicators, analyses cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives,

• Engages the management of key suppliers to initiate appropriate improvement programs to achieve and sustain high levels of performance,

• Coordinates across sites and functional boundaries (Supplier Operations Support) to identify and resolve risks/obstacles in a pro-active and expeditious manner to ensure manufacturing, supply chain and delivery schedules are in alignment with customer needs.

• Experience in an aerospace or aviation environment, where primary responsibilities were in a supply chain / supplier quality / quality/ engineering related area,

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience,

• Advanced English and Polish proficiency are required,

• Working knowledge of quality assurance philosophy and problem-solving techniques,

• Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of colleagues and customers,

• Certified 6 Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred,

• Skilled problem solver, understand and utilize continuous improvement tools such as 8-D/ EPS methodology,

• Strong team player with proven ability to work on cross functional teams with the ability to optimize team performance and development in a matrix management model,

• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders and suppliers,

• Excellent computer literacy,

• One should exhibit a managerial style promoting openness, problem ownership, data driven decisions-making and teamwork,
