Network Security Engineer (Palo Alto)
You will be responsible for:
-
Understand & Review Business Requirements, high-level designs and low-level designs;
-
Create & Maintain Test Plan with suitable prioritisation;
-
Work closely with Lab teams to create Lab setup in advance;
-
Perform various type of testing comprising Functional, Regression, Non Functional, Performance, Outage, Scale, Security, Management etc. and record all detailed test results along with test equipment config files, any specific configuration, config dumps etc to help Automation teams & for future audit purpose;

Prepare test reports proposing key risks & limitations to business;
-
Liaise with stakeholders & vendors as advised from time to time to resolve defects/issues identified during testing;
-
Prepare provisioning procedures, MoP (Migration, Upgrade etc) and Configuration templates for production trial and service implementation;
-
Submit Spark changes for provisioning BAU capacity upgrades and other implementation related tasks;
-
Perform implementation in Pre-production & production environment during planned downtime windows;
-
Prepare automated configuration templates and configurations through python scripting using NETCONF;
-
Support Operations Team throughout its UAT activities with the implementation process documents.

Support Automation Team in their automation activities by helping them understand the test cases and procedures.
We require:
-
Understanding of next generation firewalls;
-
Technical hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls + F5 Load Balancer;
-
Experience with packet flow sequence and traffic analysis on Palo Alto Firewalls;
-
Understanding Performance Metrics and Network Traffic;
-
Understanding of core network protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, etc.);
-
Strong Routing/Switching experience;
-
Demonstrable Experience in the enterprise networking security space;
-
Experience with testing tools such as IxiaLoad / Breaking Point will be advantageous.
