You will play a critical role in developing, integrating, testing, optimizing, and calibrating Simulink models to ensure the behaviour and functionality of automotive systems meet quality and regulatory requirements. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure that Simulink models are aligned with project goals and objectives. Model Development: You will develop models in Simulink to represent the behaviour and functionality of automotive systems, including control systems, powertrains, and other components. This includes defining system requirements, creating and verifying models, and documenting model architecture and design.
Model Integration: You will be responsible for integrating models into larger systems and verifying their behaviour and functionality. This includes integrating Simulink models with other models, software, and hardware, and testing their interaction with the system.
Simulation and Testing: You will use Simulink to simulate and test the behaviour and functionality of automotive systems. This includes defining test scenarios, performing simulation and testing, and analysing results to identify issues and optimize system performance.
Optimization and Calibration: You will use Simulink to optimize and calibrate automotive systems. This includes defining system parameters, performing optimization and calibration, and analysing results to ensure optimal system performance.
Documentation: You will be responsible for documenting the Simulink models and their behaviour and functionality. This includes creating and maintaining documentation related to the Simulink models, such as model architecture, design, and testing results.
Collaboration: You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure that Simulink models are aligned with project goals and objectives.
Overall, as a Model-Based Developer (Simulink) in the automotive industry, you will play a critical role in developing, integrating, testing, optimizing, and calibrating Simulink models to ensure the behaviour and functionality of automotive systems meet quality and regulatory requirements, optimize efficiency and effectiveness, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Background: BSc or MSc Engineer in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, Computer Science, Robotics,
2-3 years experience in Model Based Development using Simulink (at least 6 months),
Capable and keen to learn, research and solve engineering and mathematical problems,
Excellent communication skills and customer-facing skills,
Good communication skills in English, Polish is not mandatory,
Reliability and discretion: you will often learn about confidential matters,
Nice to have: experience with electrical design, power electronics circuits -inverters, various DC/DC converters topologies,
Excellent time management skills and must be self-motivated.
Attractive salary for Mids: PLN 16,000-20,000 gross and Seniors: PLN 22,000-26,000 gross on an employment contract and a benefit package,
