Test Engineer

• Testing software for steering assistance modules (e.g., lane-keeping assistance functions, active safety systems),

• Developing test cases and automating tests on hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) platforms to simulate vehicle environments,

• Conducting functional and integration testing of software based on customer specifications and industry requirements,

• Analysing diagnostic data and reporting test results, including reporting bugs (RCA) and debugging them,

• Collaborating with project teams to understand customer requirements and ensure product compliance with industry norms and standards,

• Maintaining and expanding skills in software testing and knowledge of testing tools and platforms,

• Monitoring progress on testing tasks and ensuring timely delivery of products, as well as reporting task progress to supervisors.

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field,

• Fluency in English,

• A minimum of 4-5 years of experience,

• Proven experience in software testing, preferably in automotive embedded systems,

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail,

• Proficiency in testing tools such as Canoe, VTestStudio, CAPL, and HIL systems,

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively within cross-functional teams,

• Adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment,

• Knowledge of vehicle dynamic systems and familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, CANFD, and LIN is a plus,

• Openness to relocation to Gothenburg, Sweden, the heart of our Partner’s automotive research and development hub.
