Our Partner – fast-growing international R&D company based in Krakow - is currently looking for SW UT engineer with strong hands on experience in C/C++ Unit testing. The Candidate will be responsible for writing and maintaining white box tests, design-based tests (DBT) and unit tests as well as creating associated documentation as: 

Software Unit Test Engineer

• Developing and implementing test programs for electric vehicle technologies,

• Working directly with design engineers to create design validation test plans,

• Designing and fabricating of test equipment for mechanical and electrical systems,

• Performing component, system and vehicle validation under dynamic conditions,

• Working with design engineers to validate and refine models,

• Analysing test data and writing test reports,

• Investigating root cause of failures and helping to drive product improvement,

• Providing early technical feedback to developers and cross functional team members,

• Develop test strategy to cover software designs by using various testing methodologies like white box testing and unit testing,

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and other testing to thoroughly test out software design and implementation,

• Identify defects during the daily testing activities and manage the defect fixing cycle until they are resolved.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability,

• 2+ years of experience in physical testing and analysis of mechanical or electrical systems,

• Ability to work as a collaborative team member,

• Automotive component/system testing experience, including certification testing,

• Firm understanding of C++ development, including pointers, Template classes, best C++ practices, design patterns,

• Experience in embedded C / C++ Unit testing using TPT RTRT (other tools like VectorCast, Tessy, LDRA and CANTATA) or other data acquisition and analysis software,

• Design of test setups for mechanical and thermal performance testing, such as fixtures for shock and vibe testing,

• Experience in creating and executing design validation plans and test methods to validate performance requirements,

• Experience in creating analytical and numerical models of mechanical or electrical systems,

• Working knowledge of heat transfer and thermal management,

• Conversant with Grey box testing,

• Knowledge of ASPICE, 14229, CAN and ISO 26262,

• Good knowledge of English – written and spoken.

Good to have:

• CANoe, CAPL, UDS, Diagnsotics,

• Elecrification (BMS/Inverter/CCU) SW testing,

• Expereince in tools like JIRA, Polarion, GitHub, Matlab Simulink, Simulink Test.
