Lead Software Engineer for Aircraft Systems

• Ensuring compliance with aviation industry standards and regulations,

• Lead the programming of drivers, Built-In Tests (BIT), Board Support Packages (BSPs), and test software for avionics systems,

• Ensure adherence to standards related to operating systems and networking in aviation,

• Contribute to the design and development of robust software architecture for avionics systems,

• Implement best practices in software development processes,

• Engage in requirements engineering, ensuring a thorough understanding and translation of system requirements into effective software solutions.

• Languages skills: Fluent in English with strong German language skills as a valuable asset,

• Project requirement: European citizenship is beneficial due to involvement in military-related classified projects,

• Experience: Extensive experience in the DO-178B/C process, showcasing your expertise in aviation software development,

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in C or C++ programming language, demonstrating your ability to craft efficient and reliable software solutions,

• Real-Time Operating Systems Knowledge: Knowledge and usage of Real-Time Operating Systems, particularly VxWorks-653 (WindRiver) or INTEGRITY (Greenhills),

• Standards Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of standards related to operating systems and networking in aviation, including MIL-1553, ARINC 429, ARINC 653, and POSIX,

• Software Development Processes Experience: Proven experience in software development processes, encompassing Agile, Waterfall, and V-Model methodologies,

• Requirements Engineering and Software Architecture: Substantial experience in requirements engineering and software architecture for complex avionics systems.
