Lead Avionics Test Systems Engineer

• Leadership in Avionics Testing: Take charge of avionics testing projects, providing strategic direction and leadership to a dynamic team of engineers,

• Systems Integration and Testing: Oversee the integration of avionics systems and lead comprehensive testing to validate performance and functionality,

• Development of Test Procedures: Develop detailed test procedures to verify and validate avionics systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards,

• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment with project goals,

• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Demonstrate a strong ability to identify and resolve complex issues during avionics testing, ensuring robust and error-free systems,

• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in avionics testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness,

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation and prepare detailed reports on avionics testing activities, results, and recommendations.

• Languages skills: Fluent in English with strong German language skills as a valuable asset,

• Project requirement: NATO or EU is required due to involvement in military-related classified projects,

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline,

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant work experience in a STEM-related field,

• Software Proficiency: Strong background in software development, demonstrating proficiency with modern software development best practices and configuration management tools,

• LabWindows CVI Experience: Hands-on experience with LabWindows CVI or similar tools,

• Programming Skills: Expertise in programming languages such as ADA, C, C++, C#, or .NET, with a focus on creating efficient and reliable software solutions,

• Requirements Development: Experience in requirements development, including stakeholder analysis and decomposition of systems-level requirements into hardware and software sub-systems,

• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options, and develop effective solutions,

• Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with teammates to make informed decisions and drive project success.
