Join our Partner’s dynamic avionics design team in Mannheim, Germany where innovation meets excellence. We are searching for dynamic individuals to join our Foundation Software Team as Junior Embedded Software Engineers. If you have a passion for embedded software development, a solid foundation in C or C++ programming, and a desire to soar in the exciting world of avionics, we want you on board.

Junior Embedded Software Engineer Avionics

• Contributing to the development of embedded software solutions for avionics systems,

• Applying your expertise in C or C++ programming language to create efficient and reliable software,

• Utilizing knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems to ensure the performance and reliability of avionics software,

• Collaborating effectively with team members to meet software development goals,

• Communicating ideas and solutions clearly in English within the global team environment,

• Involvement in requirements engineering, software architecture, software testing (unit, integration, and acceptance testing), and (Linux) kernel development.

• Languages skills: Proficiency in English, German is a big asset,

• Project requirement: European citizenship is beneficial due to involvement in military-related classified projects,

• Educational Background:  Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field,

• Experience: Hands-on experience in C or C++ programming language and prior experience in embedded software development,

• Real-Time Operating Systems Knowledge: Understanding and knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems relevant to avionics applications,

• Language Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills to foster a collaborative work environment,

• Standards Knowledge (Helpful): Knowledge of industry standards related to operating systems and networking,

• Additional Skills (Helpful): Knowledge of electronics hardware and experience in Software development processes, including (Linux) kernel development.
