Firmware Validation Lead
Your responsibilities:

Leading the firmware validation team to develop and execute test plans and procedures,

Collaborating with the firmware development team to understand firmware requirements and functionalities,
-
Designing and implementing automated test scripts for firmware validation,
-
Performing regression testing to ensure firmware stability across different hardware platforms,
-
Analyzing test results and providing feedback to the firmware development team for improvements,
-
Documenting test procedures and results for reference and future enhancements,
-
Completing technical trainings on DCG Ethernet FW functionalities,
-
Executing manual and automated tests of Ethernet FW functionalities based on agreements with managers,
-
Developing new tests and maintaining existing test solutions after agreement with Product Owner,
-
Running release test cycles according to schedules (e.g., regression test cycles),
-
Debugging and modifying test cases as needed to work in pre-silicon and post-silicon test environments,
-
Filing defects against tested components and actively managing the defects’ life cycle according to defined processes,
-
Ensuring Test Environment readiness by maintaining and improving lab test setups.
We require:
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, or a related field,
-
5+ years of experience in firmware validation or embedded systems testing,
-
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and C# for test automation,
-
Familiarity with low-level transport protocols (SMBus, IC2, SPI, MCTP, RMII) and Manageability protocols like NC-SI, RDE,
-
Experience with low-level debugging using equipment like Oscilloscope, protocol sniffers (e.g., Aaadvark, Beagle),
-
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
-
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment,

English proficiency.
