Firmware Test Engineer

• Create Test Plans and Test Specification with Test Cases,

• Verification of Firmware functionalities of Industrial Components products,

• Develop and maintain Test Automation for the projects (Python and NI LabView),

• Review of documentation and Product Requirements Documents,

• Influence testability and functionality of the product,

• Provide regular feedback to Development and Product Management regarding product quality,

• Design and maintain Firmware Test Setups which include PLCs, Communication gateways, virtual machines, measurement equipment and other devices,

• Maintain product documentation in ALM Tools (Jira, Jama, and qTest),

• Based on gained project experience, support Product Management in preparing Customer Documentation.

• Master of Science degree in Automation, Electronics or similar,

• 2-5 years of professional experience in Industrial Automation and/or Firmware Testing area,

• Experience with PLC System Configuration,

• Knowledge of Firmware Development methodologies such as V-Model, Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum,

• Knowledge of development tools such as Jira, GIT, VMWare, Test Management, etc.,

• Demonstrated excellent scripting capability using Python,

• Practical knowledge of Logix Architecture and Studio 5000,

• Basic knowledge of NI LabView,

• Ability to work independently,

• Good command of English is a must.

• Your salary will be highly correlated with your skills and mindset – between 18.000 (for 2-3 yrs exp.) and 25.000 (5+ yrs exp.) gross PLN,
