Embedded Software Engineer Avionics

• Contributing to the design and development of embedded software solutions for avionics systems, showcasing expertise in C or C++ programming language,

• Ensuring compliance with industry standards related to operating systems and networking, such as MIL-1553, ARINC 429, ARINC 653, and POSIX,

• Contributing to the design and development of the software architecture, ensuring scalability and robustness in avionics solutions,

• Leading software testing efforts, including unit testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing, to verify the functionality and reliability of avionics software,

• Collaborating in a team environment to ensure successful software development and integration,

• Applying knowledge and experience in real-time operating systems to ensure the performance and reliability of avionics software,

• Stay informed about and apply industry standards related to operating systems and networking, contributing to the development of high-quality avionics software,

• Participate in requirements engineering, software architecture, DO178B/C process, software testing, and (Linux) kernel development.

• Languages skills: Proficiency in English, German is a big asset,

• Project requirement: European citizenship is beneficial due to involvement in military-related classified projects,

• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field,

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in C or C++ programming language, with hands-on experience in embedded software development,

• Real-Time Operating Systems: Knowledge and usage of real-time operating systems in avionics applications,

• Communication Skills: Fluent in English with strong communication and teamwork skills, facilitating effective collaboration within the global team,

• Independent Work Habits: Ability to work independently, showcasing initiative and self-motivation in the fast-paced environment of avionics software development,

• Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards related to operating systems and networking, including MIL-1553, ARINC 429, ARINC 653, and POSIX,

• Software Development Processes: Experience in software development processes such as Agile, Waterfall, and V-Model, including requirements engineering, software architecture, DO178B/C process, software testing, and (Linux) kernel development.
