We have a new opportunity for the position of Embedded Engineer to join one of the global leaders in clinical diagnostics & life sciences. We're looking for a team player with a strong technical mindset and a can-do attitude.

Embedded Engineer

• Developing embedded software for high-performance diagnostic instruments used in clinical and laboratory environments,

• Designing and implementing firmware for microcontrollers and embedded platforms to support data acquisition, device control, and system communication,

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and software developers, to define system architecture and functional requirements,

• Optimizing embedded code for performance, reliability, and safety in compliance with medical device regulations and internal quality standards,

• Integrating software with hardware prototypes and supporting system bring-up, debugging, and validation in laboratory settings,

• Contributing to the entire development lifecycle – from concept and design, through implementation and testing, to documentation and maintenance,

• Participating in code reviews, risk analysis (FMEA), and design verification activities to ensure robust and compliant software,

• Collaborating with global teams to share best practices, align on architecture, and support international product development efforts,

• Working with modern toolchains and platforms such as STM32, Embedded Linux, Yocto, RTOS, and C++17/20.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,

• 6–9+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development,

• Solid understanding of modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20), STL, memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization,

• Proven experience in building scalable, high-performance system architectures,

• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns,

• Advanced problem-solving and debugging skills,

• Experience in embedded systems or hardware control environments,

• Experience with the Yocto Project or embedded Linux is a strong plus,

• Familiarity with STM32 microcontrollers is a plus,

• Good command of English (spoken and written),

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
